An Apostille is a certification given by the Secretary of Foreign Relations in Honduras on a document that is going to be used in a foreign country. The Apostille can only be used in those countries that are part of the Hague Convention. 

A Honduran Notary can authenticate the signature or copy of a document that will be used in Honduras, but if such document has to be used in a foreign country it must go through a Certification process in its corresponding Institution prior to the apostille-authentication process at the Secretary of Foreign Relations in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, MDC.

Every document issued by a foreign country, to be legally valid or applied in Honduras, must have an Apostille or an authentication from the Honduras Embassy.

IMPORTANT RULES:

1.- The established price of each apostille is per document. Example: If you have a death and marriage certificate, you will have to apostille both documents separately. therefore you would have to add 2 apostilles to your shopping cart.

2.- BODDEN & BODDEN LAWFIRM must receive all original documents physically in order to begin the process of the apostille or authentication. 

4.- The price mentioned for these services does not include shipping. The document will be given physically to the client or to his/her representative at our office unless there has been a different written agreement between our firm and the client.
